Open Claude Settings

Launch the app or open claude.ai and go to Settings → Connectors.

Add the Goodtake connector

Name it Goodtake and paste the URL:https://mcp.goodtake.ai/mcp

Click Add → Connect, sign in with your Goodtake account — you're all set. Now just ask Claude to generate an image.

Frequently asked questions

How do I generate images directly from Claude?

Open Claude Settings → Connectors, add a connector named Goodtake with the URL https://mcp.goodtake.ai/mcp, then click Connect and sign in with your Goodtake account. Once connected, just ask Claude to generate an image and it will create it through Goodtake.

Does Goodtake work with Cursor and Codex?

Yes. Install the gt CLI with npm install -g @goodtake/cli, run gt auth login, then add the Goodtake skills with npx skills add goodtake-ai/skills. The skills work with Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex so you can generate images without leaving your editor.

What is the difference between the MCP connector and the CLI?

The MCP connector is the fastest path for Claude — one-click setup, no install, sign in and go. The gt CLI is built for power users, scripts, and CI pipelines, and works with any agent that can run shell commands.

Do I need to install anything to use the MCP connector?

No. The MCP connector requires no installation. Paste https://mcp.goodtake.ai/mcp into Claude's Connectors settings and sign in with your Goodtake account.

How much does it cost to generate images?

Goodtake is pay-as-you-go with no subscription. Image generations start around 0.08 credits each, and you can check your balance any time with gt account balance.

Which image models can I use from the CLI and MCP?

You can use GPT-Image, FLUX, Seedream, Nano Banana, and more. Run gt models list --type image to see every available model with its cost and supported parameters.
